Time to cross items off your wish list because Black Friday is here.

While popular retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart and Target began rolling out deals weeks ago in an effort to attract customers, a record 183.4 million people plan to shop in stores and online between Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday in 2024 , up from the previous record of 182 million in 2023, according to an annual National Retail Federation survey.

Best Buy will begin offering tons of Black Friday deals online and in-store starting Thursday, ie. Thanksgiving Day to Nov. 30, although the Richfield, Minnesota-headquartered retailer will close its 901 brick-and-mortar stores on Thanksgiving.

“You can expect Black Friday deals on everything from TVs and laptops to headphones and smart rings, electric scooters and more.” Best Buy said in a press release. “Plus throughout the Black Friday sale we’ll have even more doorbusters on top tech and Flash deals on Best buy drops that you don’t want to miss.”

In addition to the doorbusters, the retailer will have flash offers on Best Buy Drops all day exclusively on the Best Buy app.

When is Best Buy’s Black Friday Sale 2024?

Although Black Friday takes place the day after Thanksgiving, which falls on Thursday, November 28 this year, Best Buy kicks off their sales a day earlier and begins rolling out deals on Thanksgiving Day.

What time does Best Buy open and close on Black Friday?

Customers who want to shop inside the brick-and-mortar stores will be able to do so the day after Thanksgiving when locations open. Here are the stores’ opening and closing times from 28 November to 2 December:

November 28, Thanksgiving: Closed
November 29, Black Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m
November 30: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m
December 1: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m
December 2, Cyber Monday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m

In addition to the doorbusters, on Black Friday the retailer will have flash deals on Best Buy Drops all day exclusively on the Best Buy app, according to the release.

The first drop starts at 8 a.m. CT on Friday, the retailer added.
