Katie Holmes stunned fans with her youthful appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old actress – whose 18-year-old daughter Suri returned home to her mother for the Thanksgiving holiday – was promoting her Broadway revival of Our Town.

After The Tonight Show posted clips of the interview on their official Instagram and YouTube channels, it didn’t take long for fans to praise her youthful appearance.

Ironically, the praise also came when she shared a rather unflattering photo of her taking a nap in the middle of a work meeting on set.

The actress revealed that she is always looking for a good place to take a nap and admitted that she found one in the basement of her theatre.

She added of the unflattering napping photo that she’s always looking for ‘a good napping spot’, adding that she found one in the basement of the Barrymore Theatre, where she’s part of the 28-strong ensemble cast of Our Town.

“And so early on I said – I went in the basement and saw a couch. And I thought, ‘Who’s in charge of the couch?’

The photo was taken during ‘a tutorial about all these different film clips’, with Katie insisting she’d just take a nap before and be around after… but that didn’t happen.

‘The alarm went off and I thought it was 5am and our show was at 7.30 so I still had time. I told Bill, “I need to sleep more.” And I was right next to them. And they’re all like playing clip and loud and I didn’t move,’ she joked.

Our Town – a Pulitzer Prize-winning play originally written in 1901 by Thornton Wilder – plays at the Barrymore Theater through January 19.
