According to a Walmart spokesperson, stores will close at 23.00 on Wednesday 27 November and will not open again until Friday 29 November at 6 local time.

In a 2022 interview with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner said that being open on Thanksgiving is “a thing of the past.” That only means one thing: You’ll have to go somewhere else to pick up those last-minute essentials from Turkey this year.
