Hulu, Max, Disney+ and more

With endless price hikes and a crackdown on password sharing, I think we’re all starting to question which streaming services are worth it. Well, these Black Friday sales allow you to sign up for new services (or ones you previously canceled) at the lowest prices you’ll get all year. I cut back on most of my streaming subscriptions after price hikes over the summer hoping I could get better deals, and luckily I was right.

With sales in the air at Hulu, Max, Peacockand more, here’s the main roundup of the best Black Friday streaming deals available now.

The best Black Friday streaming deals so far

If you know what you’re looking for, these quick links will take you to all the major Black Friday streaming sales. If you’re still shopping around, I’ll break down each specific deal below.

Hulu and Disney+ deals

Hulu Black Friday Sale

Hulu Black Friday Sale

Get 12 months of Hulu (with ads) for $0.99 per month. month, the offer ends on December 2.

Hulu and Disney+ Black Friday Sale

Hulu and Disney+ Black Friday Sale

Get 12 months of Hulu and Disney+ (with ads) for $2.99 per month. month, the offer ends on December 2.

We’ve officially confirmed Hulu’s Black Friday deal: New subscribers can get a full year of Hulu (with ads) for $0.99/month (down from $9.99/month) or a full year of Hulu and Disney+ bundle (with ads) for $2.99/month (down from $10.99/month).

Hulu recently added Alien: Romulus to a library that includes the catalog of Adult Swim as well as top-tier sitcoms like Always Sunny and New Girl. Meanwhile, Deadpool & Wolverine dropped straight to Disney+, which continues to host all things Disney, Star Wars, Marvel and National Geographic.

If you sign up for Hulu or are already a subscriber, you can also grab the Starz add-on (think Outlander, John Wick, and the Hunger Games movies) for the same price: a year for $0.99/month.

Max offer

Max Black Friday Sale

Max Black Friday Sale

Get the first 6 months of Max (with ads) for $2.99 per month, offer ends December 2nd.

Max has rolled out its only Black Friday sale: six months of Max (with ads) for $2.99/month. An ad-supported Max subscription normally costs $9.99/month, saving you $7 per month for a total of $42 in savings across the six-month contract.

Max is home to HBO and Max originals, with recent releases including The Penguin, The Last of Us and House of the Dragon. Max also has the full catalog of Studio Ghibli and Harry Potter films, as well as recent blockbusters like Dune: Part Two and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Yes, this one is hard to put down.

Peacock offer

Peacock Black Friday Sale

Peacock Black Friday Sale

Get a full year of Peacock (with ads) for $19.99 OR 6 months for $1.99/month, offer ends December 2nd.

From now until 2 December you can register 12 months of Peacock (with ads) for $19.99 for a huge savings of $50. Existing subscribers to the free Peacock plan can also use promo code “REALDEAL” to upgrade, but unfortunately the deal isn’t available to existing paid subscribers. If a year is a little too long for you, you can also try six months at a rate of $1.99/month.

This is easily the best streaming deal for live sports: Peacock has NFL, Premier League, Big Ten Football and WWE. The NBC-owned platform also hosts new releases like Twisters and, of course, sitcoms like The Office, Parks and Rec and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. With the entire Bravo catalog, it’s also my favorite streaming service for reality TV.

Paramount+ offer

Paramount+ Black Friday Sale

Paramount+ Black Friday Sale

Get the first 2 months of Paramount+ Essential (with ads) OR Paramount+ with Showtime (ad-free) for $2.99/month, offer ends December 4th.

Paramount+ offers two different streaming plans, and right now you can sign up for both for one price $2.99 for the first two months. The Paramount+ Essential plan is ad-supported and typically costs $7.99/month, while the Paramount+ with Showtime package is ad-free and typically costs $12.99/month. The Paramount+ and Showtime bundle is one of the only ad-free streaming offerings I’ve seen so far.

Both plans include access to the full catalog of Paramount films, from classics like Gladiator to new releases like Transformers One and Top Gun: Maverick. Paramount has also rolled out original shows like Evil, which ended this year, and the upcoming Dexter sequel series. Both streaming plans include live NFL coverage and the UEFA Champions League, and the Showtime package includes 24/7 access to your local CBS station.

Prime video deals

Prime Video Black Friday Sale

Prime Video Black Friday Sale

50% off shows and movies on demand and discounts on channel add-ons, offer ends December 2nd.

While Amazon hasn’t discounted its Prime Video subscription, the retail giant has slashed prices pretty much anything that can be rented or bought on demand. If you’ve been waiting to buy a niche movie that isn’t streaming anywhere, now’s your chance. If you already subscribe to Prime Video, you can also check discounts on Channel Addonsbelow Crunchyroll for as low as $2/month.

Will Netflix Have a Black Friday Sale?

If there’s one streaming service known for price hikes and no discounts, it’s Netflix. If you’ve been waiting for a Black Friday deal from the streaming giant, I hate to be the one to break this news to you: Netflix has never offered a Black Friday sale on subscriptions, and I doubt 2024 is the year that changes . Those prices stick.

Black Friday deals on streaming packages

If you wish to combine services, Paramount+ with Showtime deal (no ads) and Hulu and Disney+ deal (with ads) are the largest streaming packages for sale. If you already have Prime Video (included with a Prime subscription), you can get Additionswhich includes complete libraries from services like Starz and Crunchyroll at a discount.

Will streaming deals be better on Black Friday?

We may see more streaming offerings announced from other services throughout the week, but I doubt any of the offerings from these guys will be better. Most of these deals are live until December 2nd, so they likely cover both the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales events. If you’re looking to upgrade your display, one thing to keep an eye out for this week is Amazon’s Black Friday sale for all streaming TV deals.
