The Brooklyn Nets look to carry the momentum from last night’s impressive win over the Sacramento Kings into the second act of a three-game road trip. Taking on the Golden State Warriors tonight, Brooklyn has the opportunity to make its second straight move.

ODDS:

The Nets enter the day as 12.5-point underdogs to the Warriors, and the combined over/under is 224.5 points.

KEYS TO THE GAME:

1. Stay warm from the depths. Nobody shoots the three ball better than Golden State. It’s been their entire identity since the arrival of Stephen Curry in 2009. If the Nets hit a clip similar to the win over the Kings, fans could be in for a shootout in San Francisco. Brooklyn hit 19 shots from beyond the arc last night and must remain consistent from deep.

2. Take advantage of the decor. The Warriors boast a smaller frontcourt with Draymond Green (6-foot-6) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (6-foot-9). As Nic Claxton continues to acclimate himself after his brief absence with a return, the Nets should try to take advantage of Golden State’s lack of size.

3. Lower the supporting cast. Even in 2024, there’s no real way to stop Curry. He can heat up at any time and completely swing a contest in the Warriors’ favor. Tonight, it’s the supporting cast Brooklyn needs to watch out for. Guys like Buddy Hield and Brandin Podziemski play favored when teams focus too much on Curry, a mistake the Nets can’t afford.
