The Denver Broncos have waived tight end Greg Dulcich

According to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos have waived third-year tight end Greg Dulcich. It signals the end of his time with the franchise, which was simply underwhelming and disappointing.

As a rookie, Dulcich flashed, playing in 10 games with six starts. He busy 33 receptions for 411 yards and two touchdowns. After his first year of production, Broncos Country had high hopes for the former UCLA standout. But injuries have since derailed his young career.

During training camp and this past offseason, head coach Sean Payton believed he had the skills to be a ‘wildcard’ player in his offense. Unfortunately, it never worked out. Dulcich played in just six games during Payton’s tenure with the team and has been a healthy scratch over the last several weeks.

The Broncos’ lack of production from the tight end position over the past few seasons has been one of the team’s glaring disappointments. In order for their offense to function at the highest level possible, they will need to find a way to acquire one. My bet would be for the Broncos to draft their long-term starter this spring. The 2025 NFL Draft has a number of options and is considered a large group of players – and we all know that a tight end is a young quarterback’s best friend.

Good luck to Dulcich wherever he ends up.
