Moana 2 opens in theaters on Wednesday. Here’s a look at the actors who voice the main characters in the film Moana successor.

Moana (Auli’i Cravalho)

Auli’i Cravalho reprises her title role as Moana in Moana 2.

Moana was Cravalho’s first film role. She has since reprized the voice role of Moana for various Disney projects, including the 2018 animated hit Ralph breaks the internet, and voiced a guest role for the animated series Elena of Avalor.

Cravalho has also appeared in such streaming series as The power and movies, including the 2024 musical version of Wild girls.

Maui (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson)

Johnson has appeared in such blockbusters as Jumanji and its sequel and six films i The Fast and the Furious franchise.

In addition, Johnson has starred in such hits as The mummy returns and The Scorpion Kingand Rampage, Skyscraper, San Andreas, Red message.

Johnson also stars in the new Christmas action adventure The red one.

Temeura Morrison (Chief Tui)

Temeura Morrison repeats his Moana voice role as Chief Tui in Moana 2.

Morrison’s film credits include hits Once were warriors and Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (like Jango Fett).

Morrison also starred as Jango Fett’s adult son, Boba Fett, in Star Wars Disney+ streaming series The Mandalorian and its spinoff series The book about Boba Fett.

Nicole Scherzinger (Sina)

Nicole Scherzinger reprises her Moana voice the role of Sina in Moana 2.

Scherzinger first rose to stardom as a member of the pop and dance group The Pussycat Dolls.

In addition to the first Moana film, Scherzinger’s screen credits include the TV movie version of Dirty Dancingas well as a voice role in Ralph breaks the internet. Scherzinger also served as a judge on both the UK and US versions of the reality series competition The X Factor.

Currently, Scherzinger is enjoying the success of her acclaimed turn as Norma Desmond in the revival of the classic musical Sunset Blvd on Broadway.

Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda (Simea)

Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda voices Simea Moana 2. The film marks Lambert-Tsuda’s film debut.

Rated PG, Moana 2 is directed by David G. Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller.

Moana 2 opens in cinemas across the country on Wednesday.
