Vikings QB Sam Darnold (foot) no injury report, good to go vs. Bears

Selected third overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, Darnold is coming off his most successful season to date. He has led the Vikings to an 8-2 start, already surpassing his last season high in QB wins (7 with the 2019 Jets).

Darnold’s matched his career high with 19 touchdowns (also in 2019) while throwing for 2,387 passing yards and a career-best 67.9 completion percentage. Interceptions have been an issue as he has thrown 10 this year and combined for five in Weeks 9-10.

However, Darnold is coming off a 23-13 win against the Tennessee Titans in which he threw for 246 yards, two TDs and no picks.

He will play against the Bears on Sunday for just the second time in his career. His first opportunity came in Week 8 of his rookie season, completing 14 of 29 passes for 153 yards, a TD and no picks in a 24-10 loss to the Jets.

Darnold, as he has all season, will look to reverse his past fortunes when Minnesota kicks off against host Chicago at 7 p.m. 1:00 PM ET on Sunday.
