Washington’s commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. suffered an injury in the first quarter against the Dallas Cowboys in week 12.

The second-year running back left the game and went to the locker room with an apparent ankle injury. Fortunately for Washington and Robinson, he appeared to avoid anything serious for the time being.

Robinson is in the midst of an outstanding 2024 season, and his absence would result in a significant loss for the Commanders’ offense. He has scored seven touchdowns in eight healthy games this season.

Brian Robinson Jr. damage update

Robinson would return to the game after a visit to the locker room. He was initially listed as “questionable” by the commanders.

Brian Robinson Jr. left the game early in the first quarter with 11:25 on the clock. He was rolled up on his first carry of the game and was slow to get to his feet.

Robinson Jr. caught a pass on first-and-10 at the Cowboys’ 40-yard line after a blocked field goal and was tackled behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of 2 yards.
