$2 million Powerball ticket sold in Georgia

BUFORD, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Someone in Georgia is $2 million richer after Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

A ticket sold in the state won $2 million by matching five white balls with the Power Play option, according to the Georgia Lottery website.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 21, 22, 25, 32, 38 and the Powerball was 16. No one won the top prize of $134 million, so the jackpot increases to $144 million for Monday’s drawing.

Powerball drawings are held weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings.

Lottery tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
