How to watch Missouri football at Mississippi State

This story has been updated to reflect Brady Cook’s updated availability status.

Missouri football makes a trip to the Magnolia State on Saturday to take on Mississippi State in Starkville, Mississippi. It is Tigers‘ penultimate game of the regular season and their last true road contest. Mizzou is 0-3 on the road against SEC opponents this year.

The Tigers (7-3, 3-3 SEC), despite remaining the No. 23 in the latest College Football Playoff selection rankings, is out of College Football Playoff contention and now fighting for bowl position. If coach Eli Drinkwitz’s team wins, including a bowl matchup to be decided, Mizzou can record double-digit win seasons in back-to-back years for just the third time in program history.

MU quarterback Brady Cook is expected to play after he was removed from the team’s availability report Friday night.

Mississippi State (2-8, 0-6) is coming off a difficult year in Jeff Lebby’s first season as head coach. The Bulldogs lost their starting quarterback, Blake Shapen, to an injury early in the season and will have freshman Michael Van Buren under center for the matchup with the Tigers.

MSU has allowed at least 30 points against every power-conference opponent it has faced this season.
