Jussie Smollett’s lawyers react to the Illinois Supreme Court ruling overturning his conviction

Attorneys for actor Jussie Smollett said they were relieved but not surprised that the Illinois Supreme Court overturned his convictions for allegedly staging a hate crime against himself, ruling that he should not have been tried a second time after that the original charges against him were dropped.
