Former Bucks Wing calls it a career after 8 years

Eight-year NBA swingman Rodney Hood calls it a career.

Hood released a lengthy statement to Dave McMenamin of ESPNand declared his intention to retire.

Svenden had a brief stint with the Milwaukee Bucks at the end of his NBA run.

The 6-foot-8 vet has been out of the league since the 2021-22 season, which he split between the Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers. In his 39 contests for Milwaukee (then fresh off his lone championship in the Giannis Antetokounmpo/Khris Middleton/Jrue Holiday era), Hood averaged 3.3 points on a .351/.300/.929 shooting split, 1.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists per night.
