What did Matt Gaetz’s wife say about his scandal?

Foreign aid vote 20 April

Matt Gaetz’s wife has broken her silence about her husband withdrawing his offer to become Trump’s attorney general. Ginger Luckey Gaetz (yes, she spells it that way) shared a powerful message to Instagram shortly after her husband announced he no longer wanted to be considered for the job.

Do you hear that? No love America more than this guy.

Talk about standing by your man. Gaetz withdrew himself from consideration due to the fact that he is on the verge of a major scandal. Despite resigning from Congress immediately after receiving his nomination, the House Ethics Committee was still considering issue its report on Gaetz, who, among other things, has been accused of sexual assault with a 17-year-old. Whether or not it will be released is now up for a vote in Parliament, but it sure looks like what’s in it wouldn’t make it to an attorney general.

But there is nothing to say to Ginger. For her, this is the end of an era. I can’t tell if she means the brief era when she thought her husband should be Attorney General or the era of his political career. Perhaps she will tell us in a moving memoir called, as, Shades of ginger or Lucky Be a Lady.
