Freeze warning issued for Sacramento Valley

(FOX40.COM) — Falling temperatures across Northern California have caused The National Weather Service is issuing a freeze warning.

The warning will last from 22.00 Monday to 10 a.m. Tuesday as temperatures are expected to reach 36°F to 30°F overnight.

The areas included in the warning are the Sacramento Valley, Motherlode region, Northeast foothills and northern San Joaquin Valley.

The NWS says these temperatures can be dangerous for people without adequate heating, pets and plants.
