Power outage affects 86 customers in Arvin, restoration is expected this evening

The PG&E website reports that there is an ongoing power outage affecting areas of Arvin.

PG&E said the outage was first reported on Nov. 17, 2024 at 7 p.m. 10:42 this morning. 86 customers are currently affected by the outage.

The estimated time for power to be restored is around 5:30 p.m

The Arvin Police Department said in a Facebook post that they are aware of the ongoing power outage. The police department said they are urging residents to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel near downed power lines.

The Arvin Police Department also said they are aggressively patrolling the affected areas to ensure public safety.

The reason for the interruption is unknown.
