Billie Eilish’s Global Smash finally reaches no. 1, months after publication

Billie Eilish has been pushing “Birds of a Feather” for months now. The tune has had a surprisingly long life as far as pop singles go, and it’s not done yet. While millions of people around the world continue to consume the alternative course non-stop, fans in one nation have finally pushed the summit to the summit in one specific location after a long, long journey to the top.

“Birds of a Feather” flies to no. 1 on the Official Singles Chart this week. The chart measures the best-selling songs in the UK on any format. Eilish’s song is likely to sell well across all possible mediums, including physical options and downloads.

Eilish’s current focus reaches the top spot on the Official Singles Sales chart for the first time. The song has been a worldwide favorite for months, and it’s a bit surprising that it’s taken this long for the singer and her latest to rule this list, even though it’s come close to doing so in the past.

“Birds of a Feather” soars to no. 1 on the sales list this week. The cut advances from no. 17 to the top spot, but it’s not the first time that Eilish’s tune has come close to the throne.

The latest single from Eilish’s new album Hit me hard and soft has already spent more than 10 weeks in the top 10 of the Official Singles Chart. It has previously climbed as high as no. 3, a position it reached in August. Just when it looked like it was working its way down and beginning each track’s final decline, “Birds of a Feather” takes on new life.

It seems that promotional cuts are on the rise after the release on vinyl. Flying to the highest step on the Official Singles Chart, “Birds of a Feather” also manages to debut on a few charts in the UK, and it almost conquered them. Eilish’s big win opens at no. 2 on both the official physical singles and the official vinyl singles this time around, and all these purchases help it perform well on the general sales chart as well.

These sales mean “Birds of a Feather” is on the way up the main singles chart. Eilish’s tune hasn’t dominated that list, at least not yet, but it looks like that may no longer be in the cards. The track stalled in second place, and now it’s up from no. 18 to no. 13, and is not quite able to find its way back to the top 10 again.

“Birds of a Feather” will be Eilish’s third no. 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart. She has already reached the top with both “No Time to Die” and “What Was I Made For?”, her two Oscar-winning film themes.
