Meagan good informed her commitment to Jonathan Majors in style and flaunting the diamond ring on the red carpet at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in 2024. The couple, who were first romantically linked in early 2023, were also candid during an interview and shared why they chose to share the news at the event, and how it holds a special place for them.

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good announced their engagement at the 2024 EBONY Power 100 Gala. The couple walked the red carpet together as Good showed off the large stone on her ring finger. While talking to E! Newstold the actress that the gala holds a special place for her and her fiance, as it’s where she met Majors two years ago “in the unisex bathroom.” The 43-year-old said: “The EBONY Power 100 is the event we met in the bathrooms for.”

Earlier this year, Good opened up about his relationship with Majors during an appearance on “TODAY with Hoda & Jennashow. She said, “The support we’ve been able to give each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and thoughtfulness, it’s been really, just really wonderful.”

When the hosts asked Good about supporting Majors during his legal troubles, the actor admitted that “everyone advised” her to wait and see how things turned out. But Good stated, “At the end of the day, one thing I know is that I can always see myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move in step with my own drum, I can always look and say, ‘Okay, I’m proud of that.'” She added that no matter what happens, she has “peace” and “harmony” in her heart.

“Of course I take everyone’s opinion and advice into consideration, I love it, but at the end of the day I’m the one who has to live my life,” Good acknowledged. The actor further said that she wants to be responsible for her choices, adding, “I also want to live the life that I want to live.”
