Morgan Wallen hits a very special milestone – again

Morgan Wallen has been sharing singles lately as he prepares to release his fourth album. No title or release date has been revealed yet, but with a handful of tunes out there already becoming hugely successful, it’s only a matter of time before a full collection is properly announced.

While fans of the country superstar wait to hear about a full-length, Americans are still listening to one of his most successful releases. Dangerous (officially the title Dangerous: The Double Album) was released more than three and a half years ago, but it’s still working incredibly well — and as of this week, it’s reached a special milestone.

Dangerous hits 200 weeks on the Billboard 200 as of this frame. The set is Wallen’s second to reach the landmark figure, which is far from guaranteed for any project, even those from well-known artists.

Wallen’s debut album If I know myself was his first to reach 200 revs Billboard’s ranking of the most consumed albums in the United States. The star-making release is now up to 319 weeks on the chart as it still runs to this day. This time, the first offering from the Grammy nominee holds narrowly in the top half of the 200 spots.

Dangerous isn’t just present somewhere on the Billboard 200 – it’s actually on the rise and resides much closer to the top tier than most titles could manage after so long on the chart. Wallen’s sophomore project rises from no. 21 to no. 18, as it celebrates reaching several hundred images on the competition list.

In the latest tracking period, Luminate reports that Dangerous moved a further 28,500 equivalent units. That total includes fewer than 500 sales, as streams of the 30 songs featured on the lengthy studio effort keep the title afloat.

Dangerous is recovering on the Billboard 200, but it’s not Wallen’s highest charting single at the moment. One thing at a time slips slightly from no. 8 to no. 10, giving it another stay in the highest region – even after almost a year and a half on the count.
