Jake Paul hits Francis Ngannou with the Jon Jones gib after an angry Mike Tyson reaction

Jake Paul is not best pleased with Francis Ngannou after a recent threat the MMA champion made on social media.

The controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer faced Mike Tyson on Friday night in Dallas, and while the fight was ultimately a bit of a flop, it broke all sorts of live gate and viewership records. And one of the unimpressed viewers was Paul’s PFL partner Ngannou, who is a close friend of Tyson.

He wasn’t too keen on what he saw and seemed to put his relationship with Paul in jeopardy when he ripped the Ohio native to pieces. And it seems they are now on not so good terms as he responded with a mocking jab at himself on social media.

After seeing Ngannou’s tweet, Paul was quick to hit back on social media with a post of his own. He invoked the name Jon Jones, who took the UFC belt that Ngannou vacated when he left the promotion.

The pair have had a long-running feud dating back to when Jones was the light-heavyweight champion and was considering moving up. Even with Ngannou leaving the UFC, the pair came face to face at a PFL event last summer.

And Paul knew it would touch a nerve to respond to Ngannou, writing on X, previously Twitter: “Clout hunting doesn’t fit your legend. Maybe Jon Jones is the better heavyweight after all.” Hours later, Jones defeated Stipe Miocic to defend his world title in New York CIty.
