College football live scores, games, updates: LSU at Florida, Missouri at South Carolina and more

We’ve reached the starting stretch of the 2024 college football regular season.

There are only three weeks until the conference championship week in the first week of December. Week 12 isn’t the most loaded slate, but it does feature two matchups between ranked opponents and games across the country that have conference title race implications.

Here’s what we see closing late Saturday. (Scroll down to follow the action live.)

Time: 4:15 PM ET | TV: SEC Network | Line: South Carolina -12.5 | Total: 44.5

Missouri QB Brady Cook is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game, and Drew Pyne is his replacement if he can’t go. South Carolina has won three straight since its two-point loss to Alabama. Gamecocks QB LaNorris Sellers has accounted for five TDs and nearly 500 passing yards over the past two games and has not thrown an interception.

Time: 7:30 PM ET | TV: NBC | Line: Oregon -14 | Total: 52.5

Is this the toughest game left on the Ducks’ regular season schedule? We won’t get into tiebreakers here, but if Oregon wins Saturday night, it will likely play the winner of next week’s game between Indiana and Ohio State in the Big Ten title game. Wisconsin enters the game on a two-game losing streak.

Time: 7:30 PM ET | TV: ABC | Line: Georgia -10.5 | Total: 48.5

Vols QB Nico Iamaleava is reportedly set to play after undergoing concussion protocol earlier this week. Georgia is out of the College Football Playoff mix with one loss; The Vols’ visit on Saturday night gave the committee an easy out with its ranking of the Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Time: 10:15 PM ET | TV: ESPN | Line: BYU -3 | Total: 56.5

Your eyes are not deceiving you. The undefeated top-10 BYU Cougars are favored by just a field goal at home against a team that has a losing record. Overall, four of BYU’s nine wins have come by a single possession, and Kansas just took down Iowa State in Week 11.

  • Touchdown South Carolina!

LaNorris Sellers throws his 2nd TD pass of the day, this one to an open Joshua Simon.

    South Carolina 14, Missouri 6, 1:57 in 2nd quarter

  • Cool play sends Temple-FAU to OT

FAU needed a 2PC to tie Temple in the final minute, so they ran a Philly special where WR Omari Hayes threw to RB Tyriq Starks for the tying score.

  • Touchdown Nebraska!

The Cornhuskers tie it up on a pass from Dylan Raiola to Emmett Johnson for a catch and run to the end zone.

    Nebraska 14, USC 14

  • USC scores on fluky TD catch

You’ll have to see this one to believe it:

  • LSU ties it up

Garrett Nussmeier was hit when he threw, but the Tigers still scored to tie things up in Gainesville.

  • Touchdown South Carolina

The Gamecocks are first in the end zone in their SEC showdown with Missouri after this connection from LaNorris Sellers to Nyck Harbor.

  • Touchdown USC

The Trojans even things up in LA on a short pass from Jayden Maiava to Zachariah Branch, with the receiver doing most of the work.

  • Pick-6 Nebraska!

The Cornhuskers start early in Los Angeles with Ceyair Wright picking up Jayden Maiava and taking it home.

  • Touchdown Florida

The Gators got on the board first in Gainesville after this throw from DJ Lagway to Elijhah Badger for 23 yards.

  • Final: Clemson 24, Pitt 20

The Tigers survive after a last gasp pass is intercepted. They are still alive in the ACC title race.

  • Touchdown Clemson!

Just when we thought Clemson was in serious trouble, Cade Klubnik scrambles 50 yards for a touchdown to give the Tigers the lead late in the game.

    Clemson 24, Pitt 20

  • Pitt makes long FG

The Panthers were pushed back on a 47-yard attempt after taking a head-scratching sack on third down, but Ben Sauls manages to hit the long field goal to give them the lead.

There are less than 2 minutes left in the game.

    Pittsburgh 20, Clemson 17

  • So this wasn’t a touchdown as the NBC graphic suggests since you can’t advance a muffed kickoff, but it’s still a good start for the Fighting Irish as they’ll have it in the red zone just 4 seconds into the game.

  • Final: Colorado 49, Utah 24

  • Clemson turns it over on downs!

The Tigers drove to break the tie, but Phil Mafah fumbled the ball out of bounds on fourth-and-short and the Panthers have the ball back.

There are just over 4 minutes left in this one.

  • Touchdown Colorado

Travis Hunter was burned for a touchdown earlier, but he found the end zone late in the Buffs’ blowout of Utah on a reverse with the game in hand.

  • Touchdown Pitt!

The Panthers break things up with just over 7 minutes left in the game on a pass from Nate Yarnell to Gavin Bartholomew.

  • Touchdown Colorado

That will almost do it for things in Boulder. The Buffs score a short touchdown on a run by Charlie Offerdahl and are just a couple of wins away from the Big 12 title game.

    Colorado 42, Utah 24

  • Wiretapping Colorado

Utah’s Isaac Wilson makes another big mistake and throws his third interception of the day, this time to DJ McKinney.

  • Final: Texas 20, Arkansas 10

The Longhorns overcome a challenge on the road to stay in the SEC title race.
