Kevin Owens banned from WWE update

WWE

On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, there was an update on Kevin Owens after recently being banned from performing.

Tonight’s November 15 WWE SmackDown kicked off with an in-ring segment featuring WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, who called out Kevin Owens, but was instead met by General Manager Nick Aldis.

Rhodes sought revenge against Owens after last week he used the pile driver on Orton and sent him away in an ambulance.

Aldis told Cody that until the situation with Kevin Owens could be handled “internally,” Owens would not be allowed on SmackDown.

As Aldis reiterated the seriousness of KO having used the pile driver on Orton, he noted that it was important to send a message to the rest of the locker room.

Saying the phrases, “if you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile” and warning against the potential of “the inmates running the asylum”, Aldis would not budge on his decision to keep KO away.

Rhodes tried to take advantage of Aldis’ feelings as a former wrestler to put himself in Rhodes’ shoes – asking what Aldis would do if he was in Rhodes’ situation.

Unfortunately for Cody, the GM’s answer remained the same – Owens is not showing up for now.

Finally, Cody said that while the ball may be in the SmackDown GM’s court now, Rhodes won’t be waiting long.

UPDATE: In a video on social media, Kevin Owens announced that he will be on WWE SmackDown next week, at the request of Nick Aldis.
