Bucknell in brief:

• Bucknell seeks a 3-1 record and to upset a nationally ranked powerhouse by defeating Minnesota.

A look back at the Morgan State Dual

• The Bison had little trouble with the newest member of the EIWA rolling to a 35-8 win via eight wins.
• Bucknell used a 35-0 run after the Bears won the 125-pound dual to secure the win.
• Morgan State won the last dual, but it mattered little as Bucknell brought home its second win of the 2024-25 season.
• Five Bison wins were by technical falls.

Scouting Minnesota/series history
• Minnesota’s first dual of the season comes against the Bison.
• The Gophers started the season at Appalachian State’s Mountaineer Invite and won five titles.
• The following weekend they participated in North Dakota State’s Bison Open and brought home two titles.
• Minnesota had an 11-2 overall record and a 6-2 mark in BIG 10 play. They finished seventh at the BIG 10 Championships and 22nd at the NCAA Championships.
• Bucknell and Minnesota meet for the second time. The first game took place last season at Davis Gym. The #14 ranked Golden Gophers defeated the Bison 37-3.
