Johnson also shared President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s views on the current situation.

Quote: “I’m afraid that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is absolutely right. We risk slipping back into the terrible Franco German Normandy format, which treated Russia and Ukraine as equal interlocutors in a domestic quarrel.”

Details: Johnson said it was Putin who launched the full-scale invasion “while Ukraine is a completely innocent party”.

Quote: “The only way to end this war is to massively and quickly strengthen Ukraine’s position.”
