Can you solve today’s sentence?

I played it pretty well despite a bad start. SORROW was a terrible opening that left me with a whopping 561 possible solutions left. CLOAK cut it down to just three – WACKY, TACKY and HACKY. I didn’t think of HACKY, so as far as I knew, I flipped a coin. I wasn’t feeling very WACKY or TACKY today so I chose what seemed more likely and I was right! TACKY for the win!

I get 1 point for guessing three and 0 for tying Bot. Double for 2XP on Friday for a 2 point game. Huzzah!

How to play Competitive Wordle

Guessing in 1 is worth 3 points; guessing in 2 is worth 2 points; guessing in 3 is worth 1 point; guessing in 4 is worth 0 points; guessing in 5 is -1 point; guessing in 6 is -2 points and missing Wordle is -3 points.
If you beat your opponent, you get 1 point. If you stand straight, you get 0 points. And if you lose to your opponent, you get -1 point. Add it up to get your score. Keep a daily running score or play for a new score every day.
Friday is 2XP, which means you double your points – positive or negative.

Today’s Wordle Etymology

The word tacky originated in the United States in the early 19th century, originally used to describe something sticky or sticky (as the stickiness of glue). Over time it came to describe things that were cheap, flashy or in bad taste, probably drawing on the feeling of something unpleasantly tacky or of low quality. This figurative use became popular in the 20th century, giving it the modern connotation of being tasteless or unrefined.
