USMNT vs. Jamaica Concacaf Nations League quarter-finals: How to watch

game

The US men’s national soccer team will play its first meaningful game of the Mauricio Pochettino era when it takes on Jamaica in the first leg of a Concacaf Nations League quarter-final on Thursday night.

The last time we saw Pochettino’s USMNT, it was outclassed by Mexico in a friendly at Estadio Akron in Zapopan, near Guadalajara, Mexico. The unwanted result came three days after Pochettino won in his USMNT debut, a 2-0 win over Panama in a friendly in Austin, Texas.

Now the stakes are higher. The USMNT are the three-time defending Concacacf Nations League champions, having won the competition in the 20212023 and 2024.

The two-legged series against Jamaica concludes on Sunday when the USA hosts Jamaica at Energizer Park in St. Louis.

The other quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League are Costa Rica vs. Panama, Suriname vs. Canada and Honduras vs. Mexico. The semifinals and finals will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, from the 20th-23rd. March.
