WHAT TO EXPECT

Clouds are intriguing, with spotty showers lingering only through Veterans Day morning through midday as the afternoon brings more sunshine. We’re still above average today, with a high of 72 degrees. The wind is from the west at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight it’s clear and very little wind, so we’ll see light fog and a cooler low of 46 degrees. Although the average low for Knoxville this time of year is now 39 degrees!

LOOKING FORWARD

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a cooler low of 66 degrees, just a few degrees above average. We will also get a cool breeze out of the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday morning we have to get used to a “normal” chill, as we start the day at 39 degrees.

Clouds will increase Wednesday ahead of cold front number two, which still looks to spread rain Wednesday night. We’re looking at some lingering showers Thursday morning and will be spotty in the afternoon. We will be around 60 degrees Thursday and Friday.
