5. Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena

One of John Cena’s earliest rivals after his debut in the promotion was Latino Heat. Cena and Guerrero’s feud culminated in a Latino street fight or a brawl in the parking lot. The two stars were surrounded by members of the list and cars.

The two legends put on a very entertaining brawl on the September 11, 2003 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Guerrero’s United States Championship was on the line for this match. Guerrero won the match when he hit Cena with a frog splash on the hood of a car.

4. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio

Guerrero had one of the most memorable rivalries with fellow legend Rey Mysterio as the two legends had one of the most memorable rivalries in both of their careers.

Their all-time classic at WCW Halloween Havoc 1997 is considered by many to be the best match in company history. The two legends faced off in a Cruiserweight Title vs Mask match at the 1997 World Championship Wrestling (WCW) Halloween Havoc pay-per-view (PPV) event.

Mysterio won the match for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship at the PPV event. Despite their on-screen rivalry, the two legends were best friends until Guerrero’s death in 2005.

3. Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle

Guerrero locked horns with Olympic gold medalist and one of the most gifted athletes to step foot in the squared circle, Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 20 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

With Guerrero’s WWE Championship on the line for this clash, the two men put on an exciting match that captured the attention of many. But in the end, Latino Heat was able to pin the Olympian to retain his WWE Championship.

2. Eddie Guerrero vs. Brock Lesnar

The Hall of Famer has checked many boxes during his time in WWE, one of which was fighting ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar. Guerrero fought Lesnar at WWE No Way Out 2004. Despite the promotion’s initial hesitation due to Eddie’s short stature, they booked him against The Beast for No Way Out 2004.

Eddie’s performance against Lesnar at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California proved his ability as despite his size he was able to tame the Beast. With a crucial assist from Goldberg, Eddie hit an energetic seed splash and finally won the WWE Championship for the first time.

The emotional post-match celebration is widely regarded as one of the happiest endings to a wrestling pay-per-view ever in history.

1. Eddie Guerrero vs Edge

The clash between Eddie and Edge is still listed by many fans as one of the best matches of Friday Night SmackDown. Eddie Guerrero and Edge’s rivalry spanned most of the summer of 2002, including clashes at SummerSlam and Unforgiven.

Their feud culminated in a No Disqualification Match on the September 26, 2002 episode of SmackDown. The sunset flip powerbomb from Latino Heat is still on SmackDown highlights. The two legends’ feud catapulted them into the main event scene.
