The Rock Country music festival, featuring Kid Rock and Nickelback, is coming to York

Rock The Country, a music festival that will feature artists including Kid Rock and Nickelback, is coming to York, according to a news release.

York is one of 10 cities across the country to host the event billed as A Festival For We The People.

It is scheduled for May 30 and 31 at the York Expo Center.

The tickets go on sale Friday, according to York State Fair Facebook page.

The lineup for York includes: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Travis Tritt, Gavin Adock, Ole 60, Mark Chesnutt, Sammy Kershaw, Neal McCoy, Little Texas, Hudson Westbrook, Logan Crosby, Afroman and Dee Jay Silver, the release said.
