Skai Jackson Confirms Pregnancy, ‘Excited’ To Begin ‘New Chapter’

Skai Jackson is to be a mother. The former Disney star confirmed her pregnancy to PEOPLE Magazine along with photos of her growing baby bump.

“I’m excited to begin this new chapter in my life – embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” the 22-year-old shared with the outlet. Previously, rumors that she was pregnant began circulating after she was arrested in August 2024 on misdemeanor charges for alleged domestic violence.

In the report, she and her boyfriend told police that there was no physical altercation and that they were engaged and expecting. The charges against Jackson were later dropped.

As she prepares to become a mother, Jessie actress has a new project debuting later this year. Loosely based on a true story, it explores what happened in a cozy family town in Florida in 1974, where an ominous white van stalks a young girl and her parents.

“Growing up, I was never a Disney girl who watched Disney movies,” Jackson shared with the outlet of joining the cast.

“I used to watch Chucky and Freddy Krueger, so I love any kind of horror movie. When this audition came up, I was like, ‘Oh my god, I have to!’ It was really fun to work with and to have this experience and tell the story. I’m definitely proud of the film.”
