Dolphins WR injured on TD celebration vs. Rams, per report

Miami Dolphins (3-6) receiver Tyreek Hill entered Monday night’s Week 10 road contest against the Los Angeles Rams (4-5) with a left wrist injury.

He came out of the match with another injury. Hill suffered a back injury in the 23-15 win and may miss Wednesday’s practice, he said. Taylor Bisciotti by NFL Network.

The injury occurred in the third quarter after Hill came down with a one-yard touchdown reception, his second score of the season. Hill and fellow wideout Odell Beckham Jr. walked into a pro wrestling-inspired party where Hill landed hard on his back.

“It felt good until Odell knocked my back out,” Hill said. “It kind of hurt me, so I’ll probably miss Wednesday’s practice with it.”

Hill was excited and with good reason. The five-time All-Pro hadn’t found the end zone since Week 1, and the result gave Miami a 16-7 lead.

The Dolphins had listed Hill as questionable after he aggravated his wrist injury earlier this week and did not participate in Friday’s or Saturday’s practices. Hill, 30, said Lisa Salters by ESPN he has a torn ligament in his wrist but pushed through the pain to help Miami snap a three-game losing streak. He said the injury first occurred during training camp and worsened after being handcuffed to the ground by police hours before the season opener.

Hill had a quiet night outside of the touchdown, hauling in three receptions for 16 yards.

“With our backs against the wall, we will continue to fight,” Hill said. “We have a great group of leaders on this team. … Don’t count us out. This is just step one.”
