Nickelback, Kid Rock to headline Rock the Country

SIOUX FALLS SD (KELO) – Organizers of a two-day music festival called “Rock the Country” have announced the acts coming to Sioux Falls.

A number of rock and country acts will be heading to Sioux Falls on the 18th-19th. July. Some of the bigger acts will include Kid Rock and Nickelback. On Friday, Kid Rock will take the stage, and the rock band Nickelback will perform on Saturday night.

The full list of acts will be announced on Tuesday. KELOLAND News gets more coverage on air and online.

Kyle Heino, VP of Marketing for Pepper Entertainment, told KELOLAND News that the festival is a mix of rock and country music.

The acts will perform at the WH Lyon Fairgrounds, where over 30,000 people are expected to attend. You can find more information on the event website.

Rock The Country is partnering with local Sioux Falls promoter, Pepper Entertainment.

Other cities hosting the two-day event include Knoxville, Tennessee, Ocala, Florida, Hastings, Michigan, Little Rock, Arkansas and York, Pennsylvania.
