The Eagles will have two Cowboys quarterbacks to prepare for

The Eagles head to Dallas for their Week 10 NFC East matchup against the Cowboys, and thanks to Jerry Jones, the Birds might not be entirely surprised if Trey Lance ends up on the field.

With Dak Prescott sidelined for several weeks with a hamstring injury that reportedly involved some muscle separating from the bone, Cooper Rush has been named QB1, with Lance as the backup.

Jerry Jones talked about Lance being the QB2 and mentioned that they have some packages in place that would get Lance on the field – and not just to get some playing time, but in a meaningful way for the offense. The team owner didn’t openly say they would include those games against the Eagles, but it’s still probably less than ideal for the Dallas coaching staff that the information is out there.

Cooper Rush is 5-1 as a starter for the Cowboys, so he’s not a walk-over backup that Philly will face on Sunday, and hopefully the Eagles’ defense prepared for Lance as well, just in case.
