Who is Olivia Holzmacher, Joe Burrow’s girlfriend?

If Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow needs someone to smash his on-field stats, he might do well to look further than his girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher. She majored in data analytics and social science at Ohio State University, where she met Burrow in 2017, before going on to work as a senior process specialist and analyst at supermarket giant Kroger, where she built e-commerce and delivery dashboards to optimize metrics, so she knows a thing or two about organizing the numbers that matter.

Holzmacher was already a football fan

Before meeting Burrow, Holzmacher, born April 27, 1997, was already a football fan, posting on Instagram back in 2015 from the Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field. “Go pack go,” she captioned the post.

She is from Mason, Ohio however, so her natural football team would actually probably be her beau’s Bengals, med Cincinnati just a half hour drive south on I-71.

An ongoing love story between Holzmacher and Burrow

Holzmacher and Burrow made their Instagram debut as a couple shortly after they started dating in August 2017, though sadly the photo has now been consigned to the great internet dustbin. In it, they were cuddled on the football field at Ohio State University, Burrow in his red jersey with the number 10 on it. Holzmacher captioned the photo: “10/10… 1 is the best”.

At Ohio State University, Holzmacher was a proud member of Alpha Phi sorority.

Burrow moves, but the love affair continues

Burrow transferred to Louisiana State in 2018, where he would continue to make his name in what Bleacher Report called “the greatest individual season” in college football history. He was awarded the Heisman Trophy with a near-record number of votes. But Burrows’ move from the Buckeyes to the Fighting Tigers didn’t stop his budding love affair with Holzmacher.

When he transferred to LSU, he posted a photo with Holzmacher and the caption, “The first chapter was a pretty good one… now it’s time to write the next one.”

Support for Burrow in the NFL and at the Super Bowl

Holzmacher has been by Burrows’ side since he was drafted as the first pick in the 2020 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. He then returned from injury in his rookie season to take the Bengals to the 2022 Super Bowl, where, despite their 23-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Holzmacher said she was “absolutely proud.”

Back at the end of the 2022-23 season there was a lot of speculation after Holzmacher was seen wearing a diamond ring, but so far engagement rumors have neither been confirmed nor denied by the couple.

In December 2017, Olivia introduced her Goldendoodle puppy, Beau, on Instagram, describing him as “too calm and sweet.”
