Today, Texas-based southern rock outfit Whiskey Myers announced a new kind of festival in Miramar Beach, Florida called “Whiskey Moon” which was curated by the band themselves. In partnership with Topeka, the creators of the boutique music holiday, the weekend will take place November 7-9, 2025, right on Miramar Beach, Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast. Of course, Whiskey Myers will not only headline one night, but two, in addition to seeing over the weekend from great artists such as Charley Crockett, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Josh Meloy, Shane Smith & the Saints, Kashus Culpepper, The Record Label, Stephen Wilson Jr., The Droptines, Noeline Hofmann and Angel White. It’s an amazing lineup of some of the best acts in country music, and lead guitarist John Jeffers says they can’t wait to bring this “musical holiday” to life for their fans: “We’re fired up to bring something special to our fans – a music holiday that’s all about the good times and the kind of experience you just can’t get anywhere else. This is not only a chance for us to play alongside some of our favorite bands, but also to bring the Wiggy family together in one amazing venue. We can’t wait to see you there!” The weekend officially kicks off with a welcome bonfire on November 6, and there will be various games and activities including a golf scramble, fishing tournament, football tailgate, pickleball tournament, chicken sh*t bingo and beach games to keep fans entertained every minute over three days . Not only will the weekend be unique because of the highly curated list of artists, but Topeka is giving fans their own personal bay for the entire festival, where they can get literally everything from food to merch delivered. It sounds like it’s going to be quite unlike any other country festival out there, and of course Whiskey Myers is putting on one of the best live shows in the business, sure to be the highlight of the weekend. “Join us for a weekend of music and memories at Moon Crush ‘Whiskey Moon’ curated by the wiggy crew. Escape the everyday and spend November 7-9, 2025 in Miramar Beach, Florida. Bring your pods and let’s make some noise with two sets you won’t want to miss, plus performances from Charley Crockett, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Josh Meloy, Shane Smith & the Saints and more! The band recently finished their year of touring (they still have a few shows left in 2024, which you can find on their website), but I have no doubt they’ll be back on the road for another extensive run next year. They’re one of the hardest working bands when it comes to playing tons of shows every year, and I’ll leave you with their kicka** cover of Jackson Browne’s “Running On Empty”:
