Macaulay Culkin Joins Season 2 of Prime Video Series

EXCLUSIVE: Macaulay Culkin has joined the Season 2 cast of FalloutPrime Video’s breakout series from Kilter Films, in a recurring role, sources tell Deadline.

Executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, Fallout is based on the video game series from Bethesda Game Studios. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle inhabitants of luxurious fallout havens are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape left by their ancestors – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, hilariously strange and highly violent universe awaiting them.

No one is commenting, but Culkin is said to be playing a crazy genius character.

The series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as the Ghoul as well as Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’ Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

Fallout debuted as one of Prime Video’s Top 3 most-watched titles and earned 16 Emmy nominations for its first season, including Outstanding Drama Series.

Athena Wickham of Kilter Films is also producing for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films are producing in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

Culkin is already in business with Amazon; he recently voiced a character in Prime Video’s animated series The second best hospital in the galaxy. He also had a big role on FX’s American Horror Story: Double Feature and did an arc on HBO’s The righteous gems. He is represented by Brookside Artist Management and Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo.
