Flooding reported in Valdosta and Albany; APD reports traffic light outages

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – After rainfall throughout the day in South Georgia, the Albany Police Department (APD) has announced weather-related issues in the city. Valdosta also saw problems with flooding.

Traffic light outages have been reported at the following junctions:

  • Clark Avenue / Blaylock Street – Flash mode
  • Clark Avenue / Swift Street – Flash mode
  • Mock Road / Oglethorpe Boulevard – Flash mode

The 1700 block of Owens Avenue in Albany has also been reported as flooded.

Flooding was also reported at Three Oaks Apartment Homes in Valdosta.
