James McAvoy joined thousands of revelers at GlasGLOW, now in its seventh year, at Glasgow Botanic Gardens, which runs until Sunday November 10 after extra dates were added due to popular demand.

Tickets for the first two weekends are already sold out and around 85,000 people are expected to flock to the event.

Visitors will discover ten epic realms, including the magical world of UP, the interactive fun Carnevil, the beautiful community-curated Pumpkin Patch, a spectacular immersive lawn show and everyone’s favorite selfie spot, Marshmallowland.

The X-Men star attended the event with his family and posted a selfie on Instagram this morning from the UP section of the show, where he was surrounded by multi-colored lights.

The caption read: “Thanks a million to everyone at @itisonglasglow for
showing us such a good time.”

GlasGLOW’s Megan McGill and Nicole Lynch welcomed James and his family to the show.

And they snapped a quick photo with Hollywood A-listers before he headed off to explore GlasGLOW’s ten Trick or Treat themes.

Megan said: “This year’s GlasGLOW is definitely the best yet and a visit from James McAvoy has topped it off for us.

– The team has been buzzing since he made contact and it was great to meet him last night.

“I’m happy to confirm that he passed through Clowntown.”

With McAvoy’s latest horror blockbuster, Speak No Evil, just out, the Glaswegian film star is now stepping into the director’s chair for his new project.

The upcoming film delves into the true story of two Dundee boys who fooled the international music industry by adopting American accents and reinventing themselves as the famous rap duo, Silibil N’ Brains.

We previously told how the Hollywood star was spotted posing at a popular Glasgow hotspot with local restaurateur Robert Lorimer, better known as Big Smokey.

The pair were snapped at the adults only boozy crazy golf course Golf Fang on Lancefield Street as McAvoy and his California Schemin’ crew enjoyed a pre-production bash at the popular attraction.
