When the Uni-Tree that once connected Concordia is destroyed, Mario and Luigi must try to reconnect the divided world one island at a time. Plot their course, spot an island, then send them out of Shipshape’s cannon to let them get to work. Take control of both brothers and help repair the broken world of Concordia by meeting the locals, solving puzzles, fighting evil and helping grow the new Uni-Tree.

Yes! Hop aboard and use Shipshape Island as your base to sail across a vast ocean. On your journey, you’ll have friendly Wattanist Connie to help you on your way, not to mention Snoutlet, the super-pig-like fellow who insists they’re not a pig.

You will find and explore various floating islands that range from lush jungles to terrain covered with magma and ice. Yikes! You may need to dress in layers until the end.

In each location, you’ll meet locals bursting with personality – but things can get a little lively when a group of rogues known as the Extension Corps appear on the scene. Get charged up for battle and…wait…what are Bowser and Bowser Jr. up to. here?! Ouch – we sure hope they don’t complicate things…

As they make their way through Concordia, Mario and Luigi will have to find different ways to get past difficult challenges. Fortunately, they have each other! When they are together, the duo can create Bros. Moves. Fly like a UFO, roll up into a ball, or use ice and fire to advance and overcome everything that comes their way!

Having Luigi by Mario’s side can be quite handy! Luigi can help with other tasks, such as pulling up stuck radishes and breaking boxes. Plus, Luigi’s, um…unique logic can lead to unexpected solutions. Will he jump in a barrel and walk in front of Mario to block him from the enemy’s view? You better believe it. What a team player!

See the evil creatures that stand in your way – or maybe leaves right at your place?!! If you end up running into these baddies, you’ll face them head on turn-based combat. Just remember, good timing is the key to victory!

In battle, you’ll be able to control Mario’s actions with the A button and Luigi’s with the B button. Each brother has a chance to act against enemies, but they can increase the amount of damage they do by bringing the other brother into the action. Watch the brothers closely and time your attack just right – if you succeed, the duo will deliver a powerful punch! If you fail… well, uh… let’s just say you won’t get quite the same effect. You also need good timing dodge or counts enemy attack.

During your adventure you will find Combat stick. These useful items can be equipped to give you a variety of abilities, like dropping iron balls for extra damage or automatically using recovery items when low on health. You can even set more Battle Plugs to create powerful combos.

Uh-oh… landed in a battle and realized you accidentally equipped the wrong Battle Plugs? Don’t worry – you can even replace the plug under battles!

Do you really want to destroy a store? You can coordinate Mario and Luigi’s moves to dish out powerful skills called Bros. Attack. Will you help the brothers generate an electrical attack? Or maybe you want to dish out some massive damage? Whatever it is, we know you wire with style!
