RNC calls for observer access in Philadelphia – Van Nuys News Press

WASHINGTON – As the polls opened in Philadelphia this morning, four court-appointed Republican election workers were blocked from the process and illegally kicked out. This is a crime and should not happen in a fair and secure election as promised by Governor Shapiro and Secretary Schmidt.

This is an unacceptable breach of public trust that undermines the transparency of Philadelphia’s elections.

As of now, three have been re-added following the efforts of our legal team in Pennsylvania. We demand that DA Larry Krasner and election officials act immediately and allow our poll observers into the precincts. Refusing to allow Republicans in the room threatens the integrity and security of Pennsylvania’s elections.
