Cincinnati Bengals not done looking for trades after RB deal

CINCINNATI — The Bengals just traded for extra running back depth this morning in Chicago’s Khalil Herbert and are reportedly not done. The Athletics’ Dianna Russini wrote on X that they are still looking for another deal.

“Cincinnati Bengals trade with Bears to get back Khalil Herbert, and I’m told they’re not done.” Russini has written. “Cincinnati continues to look around the league for a defensive addition.”

The Bengals have clear holes along the defensive line, and adding a defensive tackle or edge rusher would be a big boost to help Trey Hendrickson in his stellar 2024 season. Another cornerback depth piece couldn’t hurt either.
