Rushall Olympic 0-2 Accrington Stanley: FA Cup – BBC Sport

Josh Woods and Tyler Walton earned Accrington Stanley a 2-0 win at 10-man Rushall Olympic to earn a place in the second round of the FA Cup.

Stanley could have opened the scoring around the 20-minute mark when Donald Love sent a low-powered cross to the near post, but Walton pulled his shot just wide.

The hosts then went close when Billy Crellin chipped away a cross for Luke Benbow but he could only head over.

Dara Castello laid a ball through to Love midway through the half, but the wing-back blasted over the bar. And the visitors threatened again before the break when Shaun Whalley tried his luck from range which tested home keeper Paul White but he managed to deal with the effort.
