TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Rob Vaughn’s debut season as Alabama’s head coach had its ups and downs, but the Crimson Tide battled into a regional — barely — with a 13-17 record in the SEC. But in the Tallahassee Regional, Alabama couldn’t recapture the magic of a year earlier, when the Tide went to its first super regional since 2010. This time, Bama quietly fell to 0-2, losing a game to one against UCF and then getting shut out by Stetson to end his season.
