Penn State is one win away from playing for College football playoff Championship and become the first team to win college football’s new playoff bracket, but they must first win the Orange Bowl in CFP semi-final round.

Penn State will play in the Orange Bowl

After dispatching SMU in the opening round of the College Football Playoff and then coasting to a victory in the Fiesta Bowl against an overmatched Boise State team, the James Franklin-coached Nittany Lions are now ready to play in Orange bowl.

The Orange Bowl starts at 19.30 on Thursday 9 January and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Who will Penn State play in the Orange Bowl?

While Penn State’s place in the Orange bowl is certain, the Nittany Lions will have to wait until the conclusion of the Allstate Sugar Bowl to find out which team they will face.
