Two feet of snow possible in the SE Wyoming mountains today

Winter storm warnings and advisories have been issued for higher elevations of southeastern Wyoming through today.

Lighter snowfall is expected in Cheyenne and Laramie, with up to an inch of snow possible, according to Cheyenne office of National Weather Service.

The agency has posted the following on its website:A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the I-80 corridor near Arlington/Elk Mountain through 9 Thursday due to expected light to moderate snowfall and blowing snow. The winter storm warning remains in effect for the higher mountains until 17.00 Thursday.


Lighter snow is expected at lower elevations, including Cheyenne and Laramie:
