Northeast Ohio weekend forecast: Get ready for more snow

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Get ready for a snowy first weekend of 2025 like one Winter Storm Watch is in effect for much of Northeast Ohio from Friday through Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for many areas to see 1-3 inches of snow fall during the day Friday with another 2-4 inches possible Friday night. Saturday could see another 1-3 inches, while the snow looks to be light and variable on Sunday.

Friday and Saturday will also be windy with gusts near 30 mph possible each day. Highs will drop from around 30 on Friday to only the mid-20s for the rest of the weekend. Nightly lows will drop to around 20 or even into the upper teens.

Work week forecast

Snow showers are also possible during Monday, when the temperature will again reach around 30 degrees. Snow chances will taper off Monday night into Tuesday with highs Tuesday topping out in the upper 20s.
