Recall of broccoli florets issued due to possible listeria contamination

(WSAZ) – A recall has been issued for bagged, ready-to-eat broccoli sold in many states, including Kentucky and Ohio, due to possible listeria contamination.

The Braga Fresh company has issued a notice about 12-ounce bags of Marketside Broccoli Florets.

These bags were determined to be distributed to Walmart stores in several states, including Ohio and Kentucky.

According to the Food and Drug Administration’s website, the product is past its “best if used by” date and is no longer in stores, but some consumers may have frozen the item for later.

The goods in question have the following UPC code: 6-8113132884-5.

If you have that item, you are advised to throw it away.
