The highest yielding stocks on the TSX plus risk data

The table below ranks all S&P/TSX Composite Index companies by declared dividend, according to Bloomberg data.

Yield-paying index stocks for which no credit rating is available from either Standard & Poor’s or Moody’s are excluded from the table. It is intended as a starting point for further research.

We hope that the data provided is useful and credible, but recognize that it is not sufficient grounds for actual market transactions by itself.

Investors should verify the data provided and examine all instances where “N/A” appears in the table before making buying and selling decisions.

In terms of methodology, we rely heavily on long-term credit ratings from Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s. Credit ratings, payout ratios and trailing price-to-earnings ratios are included so investors can begin to assess the sustainability of current dividend income and the potential for dividend growth over time.

Data from Tuesday’s close.
