Arch Manning gives epic answer to transfer portal calendar questions

Since arriving in Austin, people have been asking Arch Manning if he wants to stay in Texas or move. It’s hard for many in the media to believe that a player as talented as Manning would sit and wait his turn behind Quinn Ewers.

The redshirt freshman was asked if he thought changes should be made to the transfer portal calendar. The transfer portal window before the post-season has been a hot topic of discussion. Manning replied, “I mean, I don’t have any plans to go into the portal or anything, so I don’t really know about that, about the whole window thing. I don’t know. I’m probably the wrong guy to ask.”

Manning has been called part of the “future of football” by Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt and ESPN’s Paul Finebaum says Manning will win the Heisman before he’s done at Texas.

Manning will likely play in the Peach Bowl in similar short-yardage situations as he has entered the game over the past few games. Manning says, “I’m just trying to do whatever I can to help the team win in any way I can.”
