“I wouldn’t say that I think a baby is going to help a marriage or a relationship because of course there’s the added stress. I know realistically there’s going to be arguments too,” Blanchard said of her relationship with Clocks. “But (Ken and I) both come from divorced parents, and one thing we agreed on from day one, even when we were dating in 2017, is that when we have a child, we want to stick together for the long haul . is an eternal thing because we don’t want our child to grow up in a broken home.”

She also reflected on the type of mother she hopes to be, adding, “I want to be kind enough for my kids to come to me for any kind of advice, just like my stepmother,” she says. “I’ve seen how she’s raised her kids — and I think she’s a kickass mom. She’s supportive and not overbearing. She lets her kids find their dreams while also being able to pick up the pieces , when those dreams sometimes fall apart — so that’s kind of the mantra I want to live by.”
